Terms of use

These terms apply to anyone using Match Point Leagues. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who we are

Match Point Leagues is run by Craig Harvie, a sole trader based in Scotland. Contact: matchpointleagues@gmail.com.

The service

Match Point Leagues helps clubs and groups run tennis, pickleball and padel leagues: fixtures, scores, standings and public league pages.

The free version is free for good. It has no caps on leagues, seasons or players, it includes public pages, and players can submit scores. Plus is an optional paid subscription with extra tools for organisers.

The data you enter

Organisers add players, and players’ names and results appear on public pages. By adding someone, you confirm that:

You own what you enter. You give us permission to store it and show it on the site so the service works. If a player asks you to remove them, please do it promptly, or ask us to.

We may suspend accounts that do.

Plus

Availability

We work to keep the site running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, we’re not liable for indirect losses. Our total liability to a club in any 12 months is limited to the amount it paid us in that period, or £100, whichever is higher.

Ending things

You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms. If we ever stop running the service, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll give notice on the dashboard before it applies.

Law

These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts can hear disputes. If you’re a consumer living in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and the consumer protections of the law where you live still apply.
