Fixed pairs
List your players in order and each consecutive pair of names becomes a fixed pair. The pairs then play a full round robin. Fixed pairs are the simplest way to run a padel league and suit clubs where partners practise together. This generator does not rotate partners, so for an Americano or Mexicano social night you need a different format.
Fitting a round robin onto one or two courts
Court time is the main limit on most padel leagues. Enter your court count and each round's matches are spread across the courts you have. A box of four pairs is six matches and a box of five pairs is ten, so with one or two courts it usually works better to let pairs arrange their own matches across a round of a few weeks than to squeeze everything into one evening.
Match format and the golden point
Padel uses the same game and set scoring as tennis. League matches are usually the best of three sets, or a single set with a tiebreak when courts are scarce. Decide before the first match whether you play the golden point at deuce: it shortens matches and makes court bookings more predictable.
Frequently asked questions
How many matches are in a padel round robin?
Every pair plays every other pair once, so the total is N times N minus one, divided by two. Four pairs is 6 matches, five pairs is 10 and six pairs is 15.
Does this generator create Americano or Mexicano schedules?
No. It schedules fixed pairs in a round robin. Americano and Mexicano rotate partners every round, which is a different format.
What happens with an odd number of pairs?
One pair rests each round. The byes are spread evenly, so every pair sits out exactly once across the schedule.
Is the padel round-robin generator free?
