Box leagues at those clubs usually run through the LTA Competitions portal, which players reach with the same login. That route is the right one if results need to count towards World Tennis Numbers. If they do not, or your club is not LTA registered, or you also run pickleball or padel, a separate league tool such as Match Point Leagues is simpler, and you can keep ClubSpark for booking.
How box leagues work alongside ClubSpark
ClubSpark covers the venue side of a club: courts, bookings and members. Competition is handled by the LTA Competitions portal, which includes the Box League Manager. A club publishes a box league there, players sign in with their LTA login to enter, the organiser accepts entries and builds the boxes, and players register their own results when a match is finished. Results feed through to each player's World Tennis Number.
When to stay with the LTA route
- Your players want box league results to count towards their World Tennis Number. No third-party tool can offer that.
- Your club is an LTA registered venue and your members already have LTA logins.
- You only run tennis, and the standings and results the portal shows are all you need.
When an alternative suits better
- Your club or group is not an LTA registered venue: a parks group, a workplace league, a school or a club outside the UK.
- You run pickleball or padel leagues as well as tennis and want them in one place.
- Some of your players do not have, or do not want, an LTA login.
- You want more than a table: form guides, win rates, head-to-head records, top performers and a history of past champions.
- You want public pages for every league, season and club that are easy to share in a group chat.

Using both
The two are not exclusive. A common split is ClubSpark for court booking and membership, the LTA Competitions portal for any box league that should count towards World Tennis Numbers, and Match Point Leagues for everything else: social leagues, doubles leagues, pickleball and padel, and competitions that include non-members.
