Scores and standings
How points work
How league points are calculated for each match, the default values, and how to change them.
In a league, each player or team earns points for every match. Social groups are ranked without points.
The formula
For each match, a player gets:
- points for playing the match, plus
- points for each set won, plus
- a win bonus if they won, or a draw bonus if it was a draw.
In pickleball, "each set won" means each game won.
The defaults

With the defaults, in a best of three sets match:
- A win scores 5, whether it's 2-0 or 2-1.
- A loss scores 1, or 2 if the loser won a set.
- A one set each draw scores 2 each.
Change the points
You can set your own values for the whole club, and override them for a single league. See scoring settings.
When you change the points, the standings are recalculated from the recorded scores straight away.
