Singles and doubles
How singles and doubles leagues work, including how doubles teams are paired.
You choose singles or doubles when you create a league. It can't be changed later.
Singles
Each match is between two players. You need at least 2 players to start.
Doubles
Each match is between two teams of two. You need at least 4 players, in an even number.
After adding players, you pair them into teams:
- Tap two players to pair them up.
- Add the team.
- Repeat for the next team. You need at least 2 teams.
Teams stay the same for the whole season, and the standings rank teams rather than individual players.
Changing players mid-season
In a singles season you can add players while it runs. In a doubles season teams are fixed, so make any changes when you start the next season. Teams carry over to the next season if both partners are still playing.
