League or social group

You choose the format when you create a league. It can't be changed later, so pick the one that fits how your group plays.

League

A season where everyone plays everyone once.

• The full list of matches is created when you create the season.
• Every season has a start date and an end date.
• Standings are ranked on points. See how points work.
• You mark each season complete when it's finished.
• Players can submit their own scores from a shared link.

Social group

A relaxed, ongoing group for people who play whenever they can.

• No matches are created in advance. You add each match after it's played, between any two players or teams in the group.
• The end date is optional, so a group can run indefinitely.
• Standings are ranked on wins, then win percentage. Points aren't shown.
• In a singles group, you can add players at any time.

Player score entry isn't available in social groups. You add every match yourself.

Which should I choose?

Choose a league for a box league or club championship where everyone plays everyone. Choose a social group for a weekly session, a group of friends, or anything without a fixed schedule.
